Man Shot Twice on Park Place Early Monday Morning

A man was shot twice on Park Place early Monday morning, although he is expected to survive, police said.

Police responded to a call at 1 a.m. of shots fired at 1356 Park Place between Utica and Schenectady Avenue. Officers found the 25-year-old victim lying face up with two gunshot wounds – one in his jaw, the other in his right shoulder.

The man was transported to Kings County Hospital.
