Man Arrested For Collecting Money While Impersonating Officer

Mikhail Belik is accused of targeting and intimidating masseuses and escorts into paying him off by posing as a police officer.

A man who targeted masseuses and escorts he found in the back page ads of magazines is in custody today as police ask victims to come forward.

Police said Wednesday that Brighton Beach man Mikhail Belik, 32, is accused of impersonating an officer and intimidating masseuses and escorts into paying him off or face arrest.

He is being charged with robbery, burglary, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal impersonation of a police officer.
