Here’s our wrap-up of crime coverage across Brooklyn and Queens in the past week. The following information indicates arrests, and not convictions, and information was provided by the New York City Police Department.

Man Shot, Killed on Jefferson Ave Friday Night: On Friday, July 5, at around 11:55 p.m., police were called to 478 Jefferson Avenue between Throop Ave and Marcus Garvey Blvd regarding a shooting incident. Upon arrival, police found a man, 29, at the scene with multiple gunshots to his chest and arms. The man was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Two Pedestrians Shot on Hancock Street: On Friday, July 5, at around 2:30 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was shot twice in the leg, and a 29-year-old man was shot once in the chest by an unknown gunman, as they both were walking down Hancock Street near Jefferson Avenue. Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital and are listed in stable condition. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Man Shot and Killed for Refusing to Speak: On Friday, July 5, at around 9:50 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot and killed by an unknown perpetrator in front of 478 Jefferson Avenue. According to reports, the shooter -- who was unknown to the victim -- attempted to engage the victim in a conversation. When the victim refused to speak, the perpetrator pulled out a gun and shot three rounds into the victim's chest. The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Four Shot, One Dead at Marcy Houses: On Saturday, July 6, at around 6:40 p.m., police reported four victims of a multiple shooting at 472 Marcy Avenue, including an 18-year-old man identified as Mario Lopez, who died from gunshot wounds to his chest and three other teen victims who remain in stable condition. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Two Bystanders Shot While Waiting for Bus: On Sunday, July 7, at around 2:18 a.m., two innocent bystanders were shot while waiting for the B15 Bus. According to police reports, both victims -- an 18-year-old female and a 22-year-old man -- were standing at the B15 bus stop at Marcus Garvey Blvd and Putnam Avenue when they heard several gunshots and then began to feel pain. The woman realized she had been shot in her left calf, and the man has been shot once in the right buttocks. Both victims were taken to Kings County Hospital where they were treated and remain in stable condition. There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Park Slope

Identity Theft: An identity thief withdrew over $14,000 from a Park Slope woman’s bank account from June 20 to June 24. The 49-year-old victim told police that Chase bank called her and said a person came into the bank's branch located in the 70th Precinct six different times and withdrew $2,400 each time. The unknown thief used a fake driver’s license with the victim’s information on it and used the same teller for each withdrawal. The thief got away with $14,400.

MTA Bag Swiped From Train Station: A quick-handed crook stole an MTA electrician’s bag from an unlocked room in the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station and got away with 30 MTA transit keys, a cell phone and eyeglasses July 7.

Smash ‘N Grab at Zoo: A crook broke into a car parked near the Prospect Park Zoo and stole almost $800 in cash July 4. The 52-year-old victim told police that she parked her Toyota Camry in the zoo’s parking lot at 7:30 a.m., but left her purse and other belongings inside the locked car. When she returned at 8:15 a.m., she found that someone had smashed her car window and snatched her purse with six credit cards, ID cards, Blackberry cell phone and $760 in cash.

BMW Stolen: A thief boosted a $50,000 luxury car from its parking spot on St. Marks Place sometime between June 30 and July 2. The 37-year-old victim told police that he parked his blue BMW 328i between Fourth and Fifth avenues at 7 p.m. on June 30 and locked all the doors and windows. When he returned to his ride July 2 at 7 p.m., it was gone. He has no outstanding tickets and cops said it was not towed.

Prospect Heights

Stolen iPhone: Cops are looking for a man who stole a woman's cell phone at the Franklin Avenue subway station. The 36-year-old victim was playing video games on the phone at about as she waited for a Brooklyn-bound 2 train when a man grabbed it and ran out of the station. The phone snatch took place on June 11 at 2:10 a.m., police said.

Man Goes Ballistic Over Parking Ticket: A 31-year-old man lost it after a customer he was helping received a ticket for double parking on Washington Avenue while he helped her load soil into her car. As the man was helping the woman with her purchase, the agent gave the car a ticket. The man became "irate and threw a plastic potted plant at the agent's auto." He told the agent, "If you didn't live un this area you would have been shot," adding, "If you come around here and write on my car, I will put a bullet in your head."

Double Bike Theft: A 49-year-old woman reported that someone stole two bicycles, worth a total of $1,500 from the basement of her building on Prospect Place between Vanderbilt and Underhill between June 27 and 28. It doesn't appear that the basement was broken into but is accessible to everyone in the building The report didn't note whether the bike was locked.
