Update: Escaped Prisoner Caught at Mother's House

Corpus Hernandez escaped from Kings County Criminal Courthouse Thursday afternoon and was caught six hours later.

 

A prisoner managed to escape from the Kings County Criminal Courthouse Thursday afternoon but was caught six hours later at his mother's house.

At 4:30 p.m. on March 28, 37-year-old Corpus Hernandez, who was being held on drug charges, escaped from Kings County Criminal Court, 120 Schermerhorn Street, according to the NYPD.

He was caught just before 10:24 p.m. the same day at his mother's house, located in the 67th Precinct, which covers the East Flatbush area of Brooklyn, police said.
