Cops Asking For Help to Solve Lincoln Terrace Shooting

A 30-year-old man was shot in the leg Friday night at Lincoln Terrace Park.

The NYPD is asking for the public's help to catch the person who shot a man in the leg Friday night in Lincoln Terrace Park.

Police were called to the park, located on Eastern Parkway between Rochester and Buffalo avenues, at 11:23 p.m. on Friday July 26. When they arrived they saw a large group of people running away from the park on Buffalo through East New York Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Then they discovered the victim, a 30-year-old man who was shot once in the left thigh. The van was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was treated and released, police said.

Anyone with information that might help the detective squad solve the crime should call them at 718-735--0662 or the community affairs office at 718-735-0634.
