Brownstone Fire on St. Johns Place

No injures after third-story apartment fire Saturday evening.

A brownstone on St. Johns place caught fire Saturday evening.

The fire at 614 St. Johns Place between Classon and Franklin began just before 5:12 p.m. Twelve fire trucks and about 60 firefighters came to fight the flames, which were under control about 30 minutes later, an FDNY spokesman said  

The fire appears to have begun in the ceiling of a third-floor apartment. Nobody was injured.
