Another Gunpoint Mugging Mars Neighborhood

Yet another gunpoint mugging occurred in the neighborhood. This time, the scene of the crime took place Monday, Dec. 19, at 5:10 p.m. on the corner of Plaza Street East and Vanderbilt Avenue, according to police reports. Two 19-year-old men said they were approached from behind by two assailants, who put their arms around the victims’ shoulders.

“Don’t fight or make a fuss,” said one of the attackers. “Gimmie what you got or I’ll shoot you.” The victims continued walking this way for one block before the assailants fled.
