5 Things: Storytelling at Way Station, Nutcracker at BAM, Late-Night Q Nightmare Continues, More
Prospect Heights-area subway, alternate side and event information you won't want to miss.
1. You need to tell your story. You're in luck, because tonight is , a monthly storytelling night where anyone can enter the lottery for five minutes to tell their story. This mont's theme is Season's Greetings. Sign up at 7pm, show 7:30-9pm. , 683 Washington Ave., No cover.
2. You need The Nutcracker. The annual starts tonight at 7 p.m. at BAM. 30 Lafayette Ave., $25-$120.
3. You need to get the kids out of the house. If you have a young artiste, head to New York Explorers (behind Blue Marble) for a Bread and Roses Art Class. Normally these classes are $55, but today it's $25 (for new students only). 4. You need to know if your train is running ... Between 11:50 p.m. and 5 a.m. weeknights through Dec. 30, trains are running every 30 minutes between Atlantic Avenue and Stillwell Avenue. Brooklyn-bound trains will drop you at Pacific and you will have to walk to Atlantic and wait for the next leg (the reverse Manhattan-bound)., according to the MTA.
5. ... And if you have to move your car. You do, alternate side won't be suspended again until Dec. 25-26 for Christmas, according to the NYCDOT.
