Heifer Fundraising Event

Heifer in Greater New York – a local volunteer group of the international, non-profit organization whose mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the earth – is hosting its annual “Pass on the Gift” benefit with proceeds going to provide farm animals and training to resource-poor families around the world.

Heifer provides a variety of assistance such as livestock, trees and agricultural training to help struggling families build sustainable futures.  Heifer’s livestock gifts provide milk, eggs and other benefits, which yield income while fostering hope and self-reliance.
