Offering up Old Jazz for the New Depression, THE FASCINATORS deliver with Ellington harmonies, Grappelli flourishes and vocalese explorations. Fingerstyle guitar virtuoso and Antifolk veteran Lenny Molotov combines the silkily stunning voice of Wynne McCormick with longtime collaborators Karl Meyer on violin and Jeff "JD" Wood on upright bass with to create a vocal-driven jazztasm to quench the vintage modernist thirst.

Monica is the long-time band leader of Li’l Mo & the Monicats, who have recorded four critically-acclaimed albums. She is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and guitar teacher who has taught and influenced many local singer/songwriters. She is the host of the long-running song circle, The Field of Stars. First presented at the legendary Banjo Jim’s and currently held at The Treehouse at 2A in the East Village, this last-Sunday-of-the-month show features an amazing array of the area’s finest singers, songwriters, and players, sittin’ around singin’ and playin’. Monica is currently in the process of rehearsing a new combo, for which she will play bass and sing lead, digging deep into the canon of 50s and 60s American rhythm & blues and rock’n’roll, set to debut in November-look out!

Jim Greene sings, writes songs, and plays the bass. Influenced by folk-rock writers like John Hiatt, Jackson Browne and John Prine, The words and music are thick with emotion, and evoke moods and places that we all seem to know, or want to visit.
