TEss Amodeo-Vickery is an American singer-songwriter living in Rome, Italy. Her music is like an illegitimate lovechild of Joni Mitchell, Amy Winehouse and Regina Spektor. A notable jazz singer, she has performed throughout Europe touring solo and with 16-piece swing orchestra, Bixi Big Band. After releasing her home-spun debut album The Rough Soul, she caught the attention of producer Damon Dash, who invited her to showcase at Tillman's Lounge in Chelsea. TEss has an ethereal voice that leaves her listener exposed. Paired with her penetrating lyrics, she breathes a pureness of energy into the indie music scene.

"This American singer-songwriter and jazz vocalist has the talent and beauty worthy of inspiring a Woody Allen film." - Il Fatto Bresciano

"Big Wilson River plays my favorite kind of trashiness: Here you'll find songs written about badass literary figures the way other bands discuss a wild night out" - NY Deli Magazine

10pm- Karlie Bruce
Genre: Folk-rock
For fans of: Cat Power, Jeff Buckley, Norah Jones.

A native of Sydney, Australia, Karlie Bruce now makes her home in Brooklyn, New York. With a background as dynamic as her work, she is one of many voices of the post-disco big band Escort, has toured extensively as a background and session vocalist and has dipped a toe into the jazz world, opening for pianist Brad Mehldau and appearing with Matt Wilson and Larry Goldings at New York’s esteemed Carnegie Hall.

In September 2012, Karlie released her highly anticipated debut LP, "Paperback Lover," alongside long time band-mates, bassist Derek Nievergelt (Robin McKelle), drummer Brian Chase (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and guitarist and often-collaborator, Chris Parrello (Things I Wonder).

The eight-track release garnered rave reviews; the spare, lilting reveries likened to a “1960’s Greenwich Village” by Ears To The Ground and coined “A soothing masterpiece” by Music You Need.

“Karlie Bruce’s voice is what makes the modest "Paperback Lover" so memorable. It's one of the most alluring instruments you'll hear this or any year.” -88.1 KDHX.

11pm- Gann Brewer
Genre: Americana
For fans of:  List bands that you sound like or if you like this band than they would like you: John Prine, Todd Snider, Townes Van Zandt

Mississippi born, singer-songwriter Gann Brewer carries on the tireless tradition of the Folk Singer within the common American Man. Gann is a part of a new generation of singing ramblers - living, hard traveling, and singing across the oceans, in town or just outside, and along the way. Gann shows a love and clear kinship for previous generations - Ramblin' Jack Elliott & Woody Guthrie (are evident) John Prine, Guy Clark, Mississippi John Hurt, and Hank Williams (all weigh in heavy) - though his tenor is uniquely his own and his signature humor and unpretentious honesty pervades his song-writing. The stories he shapes into song are experiences collected from two decades on the road, in 2013 alone, the Brooklyn-based songwriter played over 75 shows from New York to California, Alaska to the Virgin Islands and many places in between. In December, Gann released his second full-length studio album, Peddlers & Ghosts. This album taps the core of Americana, recounting the highs, lows and in betweens of traversing the American landscape, all conveyed with Gann’s natural style of blending the various emotions - dreaming, longing, humor, desolation - that one encounters along the way.

"Brewer is sort of in the mold of John Prine, that style between talking and singing while spinning yarns about the uncommon common folk with a wry sense of humor and great respect for real people." --- Nightflying Magazine, Little Rock, AR
