One Eyed Cats, Old Time Musketry, and Justin Boone Helm

One Eyed Cats are; Allen Reid (lead vocal/guitar), Mady Land (harmony vocal), Mark Freese (bass) Larry Brunet (harmony vocal/guitar, Dan Besikof (drums). We play original rockabilly (all written by the band) and a little country. Allen & Mady are television & music producers and helped launch The Nashville Network (TNN), America's original country music lifestyle cable network. They were the largest producers of country music television shows in the U.S., including You Can Be A Star, the longest running talent contest in U.S TV history.

Old Time Musketry presents a joyous music that draws from the exuberant spirit of jazz,t he poignant melodies and soulful grooves of rock and folk music, the energy and spontaneity of free improvisation, and a willfully experimental attitude towards combining these elements into a unique vision of American music. The varying instrumentation of accordion, piano, saxophone, clarinet, electric keyboards, bass, and drums (featuring a classic marching bass drum) give the band the ability to sound like a jazz quartet one minute, and a village folk ensemble the next. Old Time Musketry joinedforces in early 2009 in Brooklyn and has been developing their unique sound by performing widely in the New York area and around the Northeast and Midwest.

Justin Boone Helm is a Brooklyn based singer song writer. Conjuring a bleary-eyed sense of nostalgia that stands just out of time, Helm's cooing, spangled odes to a faded youth that's never quite lost are a meditation on a rural life surrendered to the big city.  A misty fog of melancholia pervades his tales of a decadence, adjusting from a ramshackle, dog-eared upbringing in the country to a hardened life in the concrete jungle.
