Alekona has sung with bands from Oahu, Hawaii to Austin, TX to Northern California to Gainesville, FL. Now living in Brooklyn her rhythmic guitar and a soulful, smokey voice, can be heard on her debut album The Vault due out this fall. Her songs are representations of life experience as a transient romantic. There is an edgy storytellers vibe to each original song and a few unique versions of covers.
