Inside the Archives

A century ago, much of today’s transit system was developed through
the Dual Contracts: agreements that dictated the construction, rehabilitation

from this time of massive construction and expansion across the five boroughs with
Archivists Carey Stumm and Desiree Alden, as they provide a peek inside the
Museum’s extensive permanent collection.
