For the Love of Candy: Stories and Music to Celebrate one Precious Pitbull

In September 2013, Candy the Dog was hospitalized after ingesting an unknown toxin off a Brooklyn city street. Kate Branagh, owner, took Candy to the animal hospital and was able to save her with love, courage, and a five thousand dollar check to the vet. "For the Love of Candy" brings together Brooklyn's best storytellers and musicians to celebrate the life and times of one incredible pitbull pup. Also to save Kate from "going bankrupt" and "losing everything." Bring your hearts, minds, and dollar bills yo.
