Ramblin Rose jazz and burlesque party with past Way Station residents, comes back to rock it New Orleans style. With Catdaddy Moonshine Sazerac drink specials, beads, and a Second Line Spectacular!
Ramblin Rose, founded by burlesque star Rosie 151 and hot jazz band, the Red Hook Ramblers is a fusion of the best that jazz and burlesque has to offer. Rosie 151 provides sultry vocals, and hi octane burlesque to the vibrant musings of the Red Hook Ramblers in venues all around NYC.
Rosie 151 has been a regular on the NYC burlesque scene for six years now, gracing such stages as The Slipper Room, Galapagos, Le Poisson Rouge, and Coney Island. Rosie who has been singing and producing shows with the Ramblers for two years now can also be seen with some of the Ramblers on most Fridays and Saturdays at The Rum House in Times Square.
Called "the heavy metal of dixieland bands," the Red Hook Ramblers bring an explosion of raw energy to each performance. Louis Armstrong meets The Ramones in the band's 21st century attitude, style and original songs, while delivering all the classic sonics that only real trumpet, trombone, tuba, banjo and drums can supply. The Red Hook Ramblers' pulsating beats get audiences on their feet and have made them popular burlesque accompanists worldwide.
