9pm- Glitter Freeze
Glitter Freeze is a high-energy synthrock trio that continues to push new auditory boundaries while still staying reminiscent of their New Wave predecessors. Songwriter and bassist Heather Elle's tough yet vulnerable vocals lyrically tackle everything from sexuality and depression, to social issues and bizarre dreams. She officially formed the band in 2010, but it took two long years, four guitarists, and two drummers for her to find the lineup she was looking for. Both responding to her online ads, drummer Jan Jurgielewicz IV joined the band in late 2011 and guitarist Francisco Ferreiro in the summer of 2012. Glitter Freeze have been playing anywhere and everywhere since January of 2012 - basement bars, festivals, variety shows, and online broadcast. They are currently writing for their second EP, to be released later this year.
