Another Round Storytelling

Please join us Thursday, January 24th, at 8:00 for Another Round Storytelling!

We're happy to announce that the featured storyteller for January’s edition is the one and only Glen Rosenberg! He’ll be recounting a hilarious tale about getting drunk in high school that will have you doubling over in laughter (and cringing in pain).

As we do every fourth Thursday of the month, Another Round Storytelling features five open mic lottery slots, during which you get 10 minutes to tell a humorous and/or dramatic true story that involves alcohol in some way. Or it could simply be a crazy incident from your life that you’d share friends after a few drinks.

Another Round Storytelling takes place at LaunchPad (721 Franklin Ave., Brooklyn, New York), a nonprofit arts and community space in Prospect Heights. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the open mic starts at 8:00 p.m. Your $5 suggested donation includes a free signature cocktail!

Glen Rosenberg is a pharmaceutical sales rep, but is often mistaken for Clark Kent. He is also a Moth storyteller, armchair quarterback and creator of the latest fad diet “A Pack of Pastrami a Day Keeps the Pounds Away.” In addition to performing at the Moth, Glen has also performed at Local Stories, UCB open mics, Tell It Brooklyn and The Inspired Word.  Glen resides in New York City, and his favorite alcoholic beverage is Merlot.
