7/9-7/13
PROSPECT HEIGHTS MUSIC FEST
FIVE NIGHTS OF MUSIC
BY 31 BROOKLYN BASED BANDS

7pm- Eli August
The music of Eli August is akin to the waters of a great river; it’s always moving and pushing forward. Whether through it’s driving rhythm, bombastic arrangement or the urgent delicacy of well crafted lyrics, their songs create an uninterrupted flow of energy and emotion.

Eli is backed by The Abandoned Buildings, an ever changing East Coast collective of diverse and talented musicians. This Americana-inspired Chamber Folk outfit weaves the threads of life experience and nostalgia into a vibrant tapestry of sound, devoted at it’s roots to telling stories to romantics and those who reflect upon their days with a certain longing for the past.

They bring rich and earthy orchestrations to the settings imagined in August’s songwriting, from the deep undulations of the ocean to the quiet mystery of the forest and the openness of the dry and dusty road. It is music guaranteed to have you singing along and reminiscing of your own long ago journeys.
