Jim Petrie is a singer/songwriter based in NYC. Known for his guitar skills, talent for melody and thoughtful lyrics Jim has been writing songs since he was in elementary school. His first fan was his school bus driver! Amazing how a kind heart and encouragement can shape a life. He took a long break from music but he’s back in the game and playing some of the best music of his life.

Mr.B The Gentleman Rhymer brings his mission to re-connect hip-hop and its ilk to manners and the queen's English to New York for the very first time. Accompanied only by his beats and his banjolele he brings ditties about pipe smoking, cricket, tea, gin and sexual misadventure with with his clipped English rhymes as well as a few old favourites re-worked in a chap-hop style. His fourth long player 'Can't Stop, Shan't Stop' is released in November and he will be premiering a number of them alongside some chap-hop classics. His legendary live recitals have been seen across the workd from the Edinburgh Fringe to Japan, from Glastonbury to Paris. Preare to be schooled in the ways of Chap-Hop!
