9pm- Starina
Genre: Singer/Songwriter
For fans of: Aimee Mann, Neil Young, Pj Harvey,

Take a young, delicate soul and mix it with a whirlwind of emotions that conjure up fear, love and anxiety. Combine it with a powerful voice over irresistible melodies, and you have Starina. Her music can break down walls and melt most hearts…Starina Catchatoorian is a Brooklyn-based songstress whose music is hauntingly vulnerable, yet strong and driven, all at once. Originally from Chicago, her midwestern roots give her music a layer of honesty and depth that demands attention from even the most light-hearted listener.

“Catchy with hook-filled, yet dark melodies and vocals.” -NPR, All Songs Considered

" Her music is a slow leak, running in and out of your consciousness, but sooner or later, you will fall to it’s demand.” -Jason Petros, Chicago Independent Music Review

10pm- Bridget Davis & the Viking Kings
Genre: Folk Rock
For fans of : Laura Marling, Patty Griffin

"Since 2011 Bridget and her band the Viking Kings have brought their potent blend of jazz, folk, and pop to music venues through Manhattan and Brooklyn. Featuring fellow University of Miami graduates Sam Petitti on guitar and Dag Markhus on drums, as well as the jazz- and classically-trained Kells Nollenberger on upright bass, the Viking Kings expertly supply each song with its own unique cinematic atmosphere--romance, western, period drama, film noir. Following the 2012 release of their debut EP Trouble Comes in Threes, produced and engineered by Luke Moellman and mastered by Latin Grammy-winning Carlos Alvarez, Bridget Davis and the Viking Kings have been played on Miami's 90.5 WVUM and featured as a "Must See Show of the Week" by Grass Clippings. But listen to them once, and every show will be a must see show."

Grass Clippings Blog featured Bridget Davis and the Viking Kings as a “Must See Show of the Week” in December 2012.

“If you’re a fan of the sweet, lilting voices and simple, honest lyrics of the likes of Aoife O’Donovan and Alison Krauss, Davis will grab you by the heartstring. The title track off the EP, “Trouble Comes in Thres,” is a good reflection of the EP as a whole when it comes to Davis’ uncanny ability to write songs that are equal parts heartwarming and heartwrenching – the guilty pleasure of a cynically hopeless romantic.” -Grass Clippings, December 2012

“I have to admit I spent a lot of time listening to Bridget, trying to decide if I liked her or really liked her. After I heard her sing…I knew she’d be in rotation of what I regularly listen to…Highlight: “What Good Is A Heart” -The Ruckus, January 2013

11pm- Rick Snyder
genre: from appalachian to hip-hop
for fans of: greg brown, chuck prophet, johnny cash

Born in the front seat of a Buick on the streets of New York City, Rick Snyder got an early start on unusual stories to tell. His parents bought him his first guitar with stolen piggy-bank money on his 12th birthday, & he went on to become a song-writing fool. With over 400 songs under his belt so far, from Appalachian to Hip-Hop, he has travelled the world playing to audiences great & small (the people were great, the audiences small). Rick sings songs about his travels, his friends & lovers...songs about life's ups & downs...he will make you laugh, he'll make you cry...& according to his mother, the stuff is "damn good" !

"Rick played his own brand of Roots/Americana, backed by an electric guitar, and treated us with songs about moonshine, going off to war, and the Bronx. Rick’s strength is his songwriting; he paints a picture like no other, and is one of the more entertaining performers you’ll see".    Jezebel Music
