9pm- Toys and Tiny Instruments
Genre: Psych-rock, experimental folk, indie
For fans of: They Might Be Giants, Polyphonic Spree, "Rocky Horror," Tom Waits

The Toys and Tiny Instruments” present Freudian Trip: a three-part musical saga told through three separate shows on three different nights. Witness a harrowing tale of deceit, perversion, and the drama that unfolds when you rip apart the inner workings of the human mind. This event is brought to you by “Oedipal Arrangements."

Toys and Tiny Instruments is a Brooklyn-based psych-pop band formed in late 2009 as a side project of the musical duo My Friend Other.  Toys specialize in a rhythmically complex, quirky and whimsical sound and have been relentlessly active on the NYC music scene, performing in venues ranging from a converted nuns' convent to sweaty bars to South Street Seaport. They just released their first full-length album, "Thunder Clap Machine," in early 2013.

“Toys and Tiny Instruments are insane musician magicians. They brought the energy and fun in a major way”. - Chris Gethard, TheChrisGethardShow.com

“This Brooklyn-based band gives off a total Barenaked Ladies meets Magnetic Fields meets Broadway musical vibe. In other words, as quirky, symbolic, intelligent and theatrical as one can get.” - Lindsey Darden, BeatCrave.com

10pm- That Band Bones
Genre:  Blues, Folk, Americana
For fans of:  Muddy Waters, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Captain Beefheart.

In 2012, Haley "Bones" Saner released Drift On, a retrospective album that invites fans into tales of love, heartbreak, nostalgia, and self-realization. The mellow ballads and soulful blues are unified by dark and often intimate lyrics. His voice is thick and gravelly, giving his songs an emotional candidness while maintaining obscurity. Bones composed, produced, and recorded the album, playing the majority of instruments: guitar, bass, piano, organ, drums, and banjo. Patrick Casey, a guest player at shows, contributed leads and jazz inspired improvisations on trumpet and flugelhorn.

11pm- Jason Prince
Genre: indie-folk, folk
For fans of: Townes Van Zandt, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits

Jay Prince is a singer/songwriter from the New Haven area of CT. He grew up in a household steeped in music, and says "there was always music on...my heroes have always been musicians, specifically songwriters." Raised on various forms of American roots music: rock and roll, southern rock, blues, and country (and later punk rock and hardcore), the template was set for what would later become his distinctive style of American folk music. Influences can, at times, be broad, but easily narrowed down to early Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, Willie Nelson and Leonard Cohen. He has shared the stage with such acts as Those Darlins', Murder By Death, David Dondero, and Grant Hart (Husker Du). His debut EP was released Jan 10th, 2014.
