Art Off the Wall: According to What? at the Brooklyn Museum

Join us for an evening of interactive performances and activities in celebration of Ai Weiwei’s work. The night includes a multimedia performance by spoken-word artist Kelly Zen-Yie Tsai, entitled Ai Weiwei: The Seed, exploring the roots of Ai Weiwei's political consciousness; a presentation and workshop on untold and hidden stories with the Asian American Oral History Collective; the premiere of a site-specific dance performance by Wildcat! that provides unique insight into Ai’s work; and an art-making activity exploring the traditional Chinese art form of calligraphy.
