Weekend Traffic Advisory: Street Closures Around Ground Zero

The New York City Police Department is announcing the following street closures and special parking restrictions around Lower Manhattan to facilitate the September 11 Memorial Ceremony: 

Begining Saturday, September 10, 2011, 12:00am

Traffic Closure

Via Northbound West Street:  Albany Street to Vesey Street

Detours Implemented

Traffic exiting the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel

Northbound Trinity Place/Church Street

Soutbound FDR Underpass to N/B FDR Drive

Southbound on West Street to Battery Place

Southbound FDR at Broad Street

* Access will be provided for residents and people with business in the area from Trinity Place and N/B West Street

Beginning 8:00am

Southbound West Street – Eastern most lane

Via Barclay Street:  Washington Street to West Street

Via Murray Street:  Greenwich Street to West Street

Via Greenwich Street:  Warren Street to Barclay Street

Via Washington Street:  Barclay Street to Vesey Street

Via Barclay Street:  West Broadway to West Street

Via West Broadway:  Park Place to Vesey Street

Via Dey Street: Broadway to Church Street

Via Fulton Street: Broadway to Church Street

Via Vesey Street: Broadway to Church Street

• From all points proceed to North end Avenue
• North on North End Ave to Chambers / Warren / Murray Sreets
• East on Chambers / Warren to West Street

Via South of Marina  

• From all points proceed to South End Avenue
• South on South End Avenue to W. Thames Street
• East(left turn) on W. Thames Street to Battery Place
• South (right turn) on Battery Place
• Continue on Battery Place to West Street
