Video: Ground Zero Crowd Cheers U.S. Slaying Of Bin Laden

Al Qaeda leader killed in Pakistan by U.S. Forces.

New York City residents came from far and wide in the early morning hours Monday to Ground Zero to exult in the slaying of their country's public enemy No. 1.

After an announcement late Sunday night from President Barack Obama that , residents packed the streets near Ground Zero, waving flags and cheering wildly for hours.

While police looked on, New Yorkers cheered, cried and paid tribute to the victims of the 9/11 attacks.
