Two Men Injured in Crown Heights Shootings

An 18-year-old was shot in the elbow and a 48-year-old received four shots to his legs in two separate shootings early this morning.

Two men were injured early this morning in Crown Heights in separate shootings.

 A 48-year-old man was shot in both legs on the corner of St. Marks and New York avenues just before 12:25 a.m.

The man was walking on St. Marks Avenue when he was shot once in his lower left leg and three times in his lower right leg, police said.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

A second man was shot on the corner of Sterling Place and Schenectady Avenue just before 1:20 a.m.

The 18-year-old man was walking away from a party when he was shot once in his left elbow, police said.

He was taken to Brookdale Hospital for treatment.
