UPDATED: Transportation Roundup, After The Storm
Here's how to get around the city by public transportation (or not).
Updated as of 5 p.m.:
The City suggests that everyone stay indoors and off the road, but we know that's impossible in New York. If you need to be somewhere, here's how you might be affected:
- Expect delays on the 1/2/3 lines today, as well as the J/Z.
- In Manhattan, uptown 4/5 train service is running local between Bowling Green and the 125th Street, with 5 trains suspended between East 180th Street and the Eastchester-Dyre Avenue.
- 7 train service is running local between Flushing-Main Street and Times Square-42nd Street.
- A trains are still suspended between Euclid Avenue and Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue in both directions.
- B/D/F/M trains are all running with delays. B train service is suspended between Bedford Park Boulevard and Brighton Beach. D train service is suspended between 36th Street Station in Brooklyn and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue in both directions. F train service is suspended between Church Avenue and Jay Street-Metro Tech.
- The G train is suspended between Hoyt-Schermerhorn and Church Avenue in both directions.
- L train service is suspended between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avenues and the Broadway Junction. Due to a train with mechanical problems at the E 105th Street Station, the L shuttle train is suspended in both directions from Broadway Junction to the Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway.
-
There is no Q train service between the 57th Street-7th Avenue Station and the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station in both directions. There is also no N train service between the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station and the Whitehall Street Station in both directions.
