Photos: Chelsea Clinton Reads to P.S. 9 Kids at Brooklyn Public Library

Bill and Hillary's daughter, now an NBC News special correspondent, read to students from P.S. 399 and P.S. 9 as part of network's Education Nation initiative.

Grand Army Plaza has had its share of celebrities this week.

First Robin Williams filmed a scene there for his new movie Monday. Then Thursday, Chelsea Clinton read to second and third graders from P.S. 9 and P.S. 399 at the Central Library.

Clinton, who is currently a special correspondent for NBC News, read Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman and The Gingerbread Boy by Paul Galdone to the students as part of NBC News' Education Nation initiative, which aims to "engage the country in a solutions-focused conversation about the state of education in America."

Thanks to reader Debra Van Enkenvoort and the Brooklyn Public Library for sharing the shots.
