Earth Celebration at Prospect Park, Easter Egg Hunt, Free Live Music, More

Prospect Heights area information and events you won't want to miss.

1. You need an Easter Egg Hunt. Head to the Brooklyn Children's Museum for  Bring your own baskets. There will be a special area for our littlest gatherers, ages 3 and under. 9 - 11 a.m., all ages, $12/members, $5/members, which includes museum admission.  

2. You need to do something to commemorate Earth Day (Weekend). Head to Prospect Park for . Today and tomorow from 1:00pm–4:00pm at the park’s Audobon Center there will be nature-themed games, educational activities, performances, and crafts.Prospect Park W & 9th St. Free.

3. You need a night out. Head to for a show by . 603 Vanderbilt Ave. at Bergen St. 9 p.m. Free.

4. You need to do something about child abuse. Head to Prospect park for the  . There will be a kids' fun run, family friendly activities, refreshments, and live music. Prospect Park, Enter at Prospect Park W & 9th Street, 10 a.m., $25.

5. You need to know if your train is running. The Q is running normally this weekend (thank God!) but there are no No. 4 trains between Brooklyn Bridge and Utica Avenue until 5 a.m. Monday. Instead take the 3 train. For more information see the MTA site.
