Alternate Side Parking Suspended from March 26 through April 2

Drivers will not need to move their cars as the city celebrates Passover, Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

Good news for Prospect Heights car owners.

Alternate side parking has been suspended on March 26, 27, 28 and 29 in observance of several holidays, according to the city's Department of Transportation.

There will be no street cleaning on Tuesday and Wednesday in observance of the first two days of Passover. Alternate side parking rules are also cancelled for Holy Thursday and Good Friday.

Next week, alternate side parking will also be suspended on April 1 and 2 for the the seventh and eighth day of Passover. 

Parking meters and other parking regulations will still be in effect during this period.

Drivers in areas that have street cleaning on Saturday or Sunday will still have to move their cars on March 30 or 31.
