5 Things You Need to Know Today: Q Train Issues, Gentrification Film, Comedy of Errors, More

Prospect Heights information and events you won't want to miss.

1. You need theater. BAM's newest show, "" just opened last night, so you're still likely to be able to get tickets. But if you want to go, get tickets soon, because Diary of a Madman and Borkman both sold out. , $25 to $70. 7:30 p.m.

2. You need theater, but can't afford tickets. Get some vicariously by going to by Director Edward Hall. , 6 p.m. $10.

3. You need to use your brain, and a movie would be nice, too. Head to Fort Greene for "Some Like It Home: A Documentary on the Gentrification of Ft. Greene," followed by a discussion. 372 Clinton Ave., 7 p.m. Free.

4. You need to get the kids out of the house. Head to the B to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with , where kids can create a lucky collage with green materials and gold glitter to take home.  11:30 a.m. and 2:3o p.m. Free with admission ($7.50 per person 1 year and older). Or come between 5 and 7 when admission is free for other events.

5. You need to know if your train is running and if you have to move your car. If you're taking the Q train late at night, then not very well (but better than ). Between midnight and 5 a.m. all week, the Q train is going to drop you at the N platform at Pacific, make you walk to the Q platform at Atlantic, then have you wait up to 30 minutes to catch the connecting train, according to the MTA.  There's no alternate side suspension planned for a weekday until Passover on April 19 and 20, according to the NYC DOT.
