5 Things You Need to Know Today: Free Jazz, Knitting for Kids, Q-Train Nightmare Continues and More

Prospect Heights information and events you won't want to miss.

1. You need to get the kids to the library. How about crafts? There's a for kids and teens at the at 4 p.m.

4. You need to know if your train is running. Sadly, the late-night Q-train nightmare is back. Q trains are running every 30 minutes between Atlantic Avenue and Stillwell Avenue from 12:15 a.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, according to the MTA site. They will drop you at Pacific and you have to walk to Atlantic (or vice versa) and wait for the next leg. The wait is a pain, so you're probably better off walking or switching to the 2/3 at Atlantic.

5. You need to know if you have to move your car. You do need to move your car. The next alternate side suspension isn't until Ash Wednesday on March 9, accoring to the NYC DOT
