5 Things You Need to Know: Greenmarket, Canoe Trips and More

What you need to know to start your Saturday off right.

1. You need to eat fresh, local food. Hooray, it’s Greenmarket day! From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., where you can pick up fresh produce for the week.

2. You need to go canoeing! Well, you don’t need to, but it’s nice. The Gowanus Dredgers will set you up for down the canal, from 1-5 p.m. Meet at Second and Bond streets.
