5 Things: Atlantic Yards Meeting, Thirsty Trivia and Karaoke With Mr. Wonderful

Prospect Heights-area information and events you won't want to miss.

 

1. Find out about the next phase in Atlantic Yards construction.  Forest City Ratner will present his plans for the first of the 15 high-rise apartment buildings that are going to be built at Atlantic Yards next to the Barclays Center. The developer will present his plans tonight at a public meeting Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon St. at Court Street. 6:30 p.m. 

2. Hit the bar. Head to Thirsty Thursday Trivia with Mona Mour at Branded Saloon, 603 Vanderbilt Ave. at Bergen. 8 p.m. Stay afterwards for Karaoke with Mr. Wonderful at 10. No cover. 

3. Sing your heart out. Head to Franklin Avenue for the The Little Zelda Thursday Sing-along, where each week, the crowd belts out a different album. 728 Franklin Ave., between Park and Sterling places. 8:30 p.m. Free. NO SING-ALONG TONIGHT -AC

4. Get the kids out of the house. Head to Dean Street for a Sing-along with Lloyd. 755 Dean St. at Underhill, 10:30 a.m. $5.  

5. Move the car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today. The next suspension is Saturday, Dec. 8 (and the next suspension of any use is on Christmas Day).
