5 Things: Kids Concert at Celebrate Brooklyn! Tour de France Watching, More

Prospect Heights-area information and events you won't want to miss.

4. You need to get the kids out of the house. Luckily, today's Celebrate Brooklyn! concert is aimed at them with performances by Prospect Park Bandshell (enter at Prospect Park W and 9th St), 4 p.m. (but get there early). Free. Or, see our full list of 

5. You need to know if your train is running, and if you have to move your car. All weekend there will be no Manhattan-bound trains at Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza and Bergen Street, according to the MTA. As for moving your car, alternate side is not suspended again until the Feast of the Assumption on Monday, August 15, according to the NYC DOT.
