Sushi Coming to Vanderbilt Avenue

New restaurant between Bergen and Dean will offer sushi and other Japanese fare.

A new sushi restaurant is coming to 597 Vanderbilt Ave., the storefront next to Wine Exchange between Bergen and Dean streets.

We spoke with some of the workers there and were able to find out that the restaurant will be called Inaka and will serve your standard sushi and Japanese fare: sushi, tempura, bento boxes, etc. We left info for the owner and will let you know if we find out more about the planned menu or planned opening date.

There's plenty of sushi in Prospect Heights including  on Sixth, and  and  on Washington and  on Flatbush.

But now those near Vanderbilt will have their own nearby spot.
