Mason & Mug Kosher Restaurant Opening Soon
First and only kosher restaurant in Prospect Heights hopes to open in weeks.
Itta Werdiger Roth, founder and Chef of The Hester, a kosher supper club, and Sasha Chack, former Food & Beverage Director of 92YTribeca, are close to opening up the first kosher small plate, craft beer and kosher wine bar in Prospect Heights.
The two are aiming for a late October or early November opening at 708 Washington Ave. They have also taken to indigogo.com to ask the community for help.
Mason & Mug will feature small plates with a constantly-changing menu along with an in-shop General Store stocking their favorite menu items such as house-made jams, pickles and dips.
