Ideya, the Latin and Caribbean bistro at the corner of Park Place and Flatbush Avenue is now open – sort of.
You may have passed by tonight and seen it full of people, but for the next few days it's open only to friends and family.
The restaurant opens to the public Friday for dinner. It will add lunch in a few weeks, its owner said.
Even then, it will be a soft opening with a shorter menu, but don't worry, the mojitos for which the relocated restaurant is known will be flowing.
Ideya lived for 11 years in Soho, until it was flooded out by Hurricane Sandy.
