The "best use of the word crack" honor was for the name of the "salted crack caramel" flavor, which the Voice called addictive. And they're not alone.

Owner Brian Smith said the burnt-sugar, chocolate, sugar concoction is "far and away" the most popular flavor.

"On any given weekend we can go through three boxes, the next most popular flavor (peppermint patty), it's about half that," he said. A box, by the way, is two-and-a-half gallons.

As for the best ice cream accolade, Smith was thrilled.

"It was a complete and utter surprise and delight," he said.
