Where to take the kids this week in and around Prospect Heights.

Every week we will give you the lowdown on kids events in Prospect Heights as well a selection from North Park Slope and South Fort Greene.


Monday, February 28

Want to talk to other Park Slope dads and learn how to better play and communicate with your little ones? Check out this group for fathers and children between 2 and 2 1/2 years old. Discussions are led by clinical social worker Susannah Gersten and speech language pathoglogist Craig Selinger. Fathers and children are both welcome. Wednesday, March 2

This open mic highlights teen poets, spoken word artists, emcees, scholars and activists. Get there early to sign up! , 5 p.m., Free.

Visit the Totally Tots Art Studio at Brooklyn Children’s museum and discover all the activites that are in store for your young Picasso. , 145 Brooklyn Ave, 2:30-3:30 p.m., ages 5 and under, Free with admission.
