Where/When: , Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 p.m., Sunday 3 p.m.

Why Go: BAM's newest show, "" just opened last night, so you're still likely to be able to get tickets. But if you want to go, get tickets soon, because Diary of a Madman and Borkman both sold out. Read theater critic Melanie White's . We'll say here that the word "hilarious" might be used.

Why Go: Rabbit Hole Ensemble performs the original three-part play series "Year of Frankenstein." The first play premiered in October, but part of the series, "Dr. Frankenstein's Magical Creature" can be thoroughly enjoyed even if you haven't seen the first part!

Pricing: $18; $15 students/seniors

 

Where: , 54 Greene Ave. between Adelphi Street and Clermont Avenue on Saturday March 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The  Paul Robeson Theater is hosting performances of two short plays. “Olive Branch” tells the tale of a rocky romance between an older man and a younger woman. As Warren, the older man, deals with an illness, his lover starts wrestling with the challenges of the relationship. “Codes” is based on a tragic real-life incident in Brownsville in the 1990s. When a shootout results in the death of a toddler, the child’s mother refuses to snitch on the killer out of fear for her safety and respect for the codes of the street.

Where/When: 161a Chrystie St., Manhattan, Sunday 2 p.m.

Why Go: Although you have to cross the bridge, the gala benefits Prospect Heights' own LAVA performance group and school, located on Bergen Street. You'll get a 30-minute, high-energy and athletic mix of gymnastics, modern dance and martial arts, plus music, mimosas and more.

5. Opera: “Henry's Wife” and “Eichmann in Jerusalem” 

Where: South Oxford Space, 138 S. Oxford Street between Hanson Place and Atlantic Avenue on Sunday, March 20 at 7 p.m.

Why Go: On Sunday, two operas-in-development will be performed and followed by a discussion with the creators. “Henry's Wife” tells the story of a man who feels compelled to follow the orders of his deceased first wife — at the risk of losing his current family. “Eichmann in Jerusalem” follows the final days of the notorious Nazi.

Price: $20. $10 students & seniors
