Five Things You Need to Know: Atlantic Yards Meeting, Comedy, Art Lecture and More

Neighborhood events and information you won't want to miss.

 1- You need to know if your train is running. There are still service interruptions on the 2 train between Manhattan and Brooklyn late nights. See the MTA Web site for more information.

2- You need to know what is going on with the Atlantic Yards. Today at 10:30 a.m., the Empire State Development Corporation Board of Directors whether taking 25 years instead of 10 to build the sports area will be "burdensome" to the neighborhood. It's too late to RSVP to attend, but it will be webcast.

3- You need to know how to play guitar. Luckily Ilusha Tsinadze will be giving at Launchpad tonight from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. 721 Franklin Ave.
