Shambhala Dance Hall

This is a community dance, modeled after NYC's Barefoot Boogie and Boston's Dance Freedom. Come freestyle dance in Shambhala's beautiful studio. DJ Shakti is coordinating the music--we'll be bringing in other DJ's and even live music each first Friday of the month.

DJ Shakti spins a mix of Kirtan based Grooves, World, Reggae, and danceable Indie and New  music. Always fun, quirky, interesting, full bodied, heart centered, and HOT! Music to support embodied movement and full on creative dancing.

Optional: Come warm-up starting at 8PM with Meditation into Dance Class. This class transitions seamlessly into the Dance Hall at 9:15.
