Panel Discussion: “So Different, So Appealing: Women and the Pop Art Movement”

This panel takes place in the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Auditorium on the 3rd Floor.

This panel discussion is in conjunction with the exhibition Seductive Subversion: Women Pop Artists, 1958–1968. It expands the narrow definition that pop art is dominated by American men. The discussion is moderated by Catherine Morris, Curator of the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, and the panel includes: Sid Sachs, Director of Exhibitions, Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery, the University of the Arts, Philadelphia, and co-curator of Seductive Subversion at the University of the Arts; Kalliopi Minioudaki, art historian and co-curator of the exhibition at the University of the Arts; and artists from the exhibition.
