8pm- Painless Parker
Behind the Painless Parker moniker is the musical output of one Noam Berg, an American-Israeli-Canadian no-goodnik whose zeal for music far outstrips any actual talent. What started out as a sandbox for ideas new and old slowly but surely mutated into a proper stage act which combines traditional and popular tunes with Painless Parker originals. The result is a mixed bag of country laments, sea shanties, murder ballads and classic rockers, filtered through a grimy, whiskey-stained punk lens.
9pm-The Waysties
The Waysties leave their barstools and take the stage for a night of raucous Irish songs and Irished-up rock covers. Painless Parker opens for The Way Station's own roving band of regulars. Good Craic starts at 8 and goes all night long. Featuring The Rose West's Alex and Robare, Painless Parker's Noam, Molly of Mist Covered Mountains and Sarah Biz.
