NYFA Boot Camp Art Festival Presents "Identity: Masked and Unmasked" Exhibit

Join Launchpad for the exhibit opening of "Identity: Masked and Unmasked," featuring the work of visual artists Melanie Baker, Margarida Correia, Shaun El C. Leonardo and Dionis Ortiz. All artists are graduates of the NYFA Artist as Entrepreneur Boot Camp.

The program investigates an identity undertaken by each artist. Baker and Leonardo present "masked" men in perceptions of power and masculinity. Conversely, Correia and Ortiz unmasks their subjects, revealing their complex identities and offering a window into their lives.

An artists' talk about the show will be held at LaunchPad on November 17. The exhibit will run until November 28.
