Black History Month: Living History @ Brooklyn Children's Museum

Celebrate winter break and Black History Month with extended hours at Brooklyn Children's Museum. All events are inclued in museum admission.

According to their website, today's events are:

Harriet Tubman, the Underground Railroad, the Cause of Slavery, & Us Join us for an interactive performance for young people. Children will enact a play about an escape led by Harriet Tubman and Thomas Garrett through the Underground Railroad. Presenters Devorah Tarrow and Barbara McClung will guide this engaging journey using Aesthetic Realism. 1p.m., all ages.

Hibernation Station Why is the park so quiet? Seems like there’s a lot more going on in the summer, doesn’t it? Let’s do some investigating to figure out where everyone went. Kids will learn about adaptations our animal friends have to make it through the winter. 1:30 p.m., ages 3+
