Celebrate winter break and Black History Month with extended hours at Brooklyn Children's Museum. All events are inclued in museum admission.

According to their website, today's events are:

3,2,1... Blast Off! Take a journey into the final frontier. Learn about the first African American woman in space, Mae Jamison, and how she lived and worked in space. Create a special craft that is just out of this world! 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., 5 and under

Living the Legacy: Black History Collage Transform words and images into art! Join us in celebrating American ingenuity through a creative collage project! Bring Black History to life as you use your imagination to patchwork memorable photographs and expressions in your own "art masterpiece" to take home. 2:30 p.m., ages 6+
