Brooklyn has some new theater going down this week. Living in Brooklyn, you've got no excuse not to give something new a try. Here's what you can see this week at BRIC House and BAM:
At BAM: This week features the U.S. debut of Water, a look at two stories, brought together on a common theme, in this case, climate change. The stories take on added drama given the setting, soaked through with light effects that resemble the flowing water that pervades the lives of the characters. Performances start on Nov. 13 and run through Nov. 20. Tickets start at $14 for BAM members.
At BRIC House: On Earth Together, is a dance piece that brings together the music of Stevie Wonder with African dance. Community members will participate on stage with members of the featured company, in performances this week. Performances start Nov. 13 and run through Nov. 24. Tickets are $22 for general admission.
