At BRIC House: Monday night on the stoop at BRIC House an all-women's Afro-Brazilian Samba Reggae drumming band Batala New York City will perform. The music of Batala originates in Salvador de Bahia, in North Eastern Brazil, and this international music group has over 800 drummers as members across the globe.
At BAM: The U.S. premier of 'King Lear' starring Tony Award-winning and Oscar-nominated actor Frank Langella happens at BAM Jan. 7. The show runs through Feb. 9.
